GENERAL DIVISION
Pursuant to the directions of the Chief Justice as to the operation of Ohio courts during the state and national emergency currently existing related to COVID-19, and exercising the authority of Administrative Judge, it is hereby ORDERED that:
- All orders for the sale or appraisal of goods, chattels, lands, or tenements, including but not limited to any mobile or manufactured home, shall be stayed during this emergency or until further order of the Administrative Judge. This order shall be apply to matters already filed and/or scheduled as well as subsequent filings and proceedings in this court. This order shall also apply to proceedings involving a private selling officer. Plaintiffs’ counsel shall notify private selling officers, banks, and other lending institutions involved in a case of this stay.
- Filings will continue to be accepted in such cases which may ultimately result in the sale or appraisal of goods, chattels, lands, or tenements, including but not limited to any mobile or manufactured home, However, counsel and parties are informed that all time requirements established by the Revised Code, the Local Rules, the Rules of Civil Procedure, or any other rules listed in the Order of the Supreme Court filed on March 27, 2020 with regard to the tolling of time requirements, and which would expire during the term of the emergency or July 30, 2020, whichever is sooner, are tolled as a matter of law.
